ACNCRW Monthly Luncheon - NOTE CHANGE IN VENUE

This month the meeting is on January 30th, 2025

--The ACNCRW meets monthly on the last Thursday of each month at 11:00 am at

Ashe County Worship Center, 863 Ray Taylor Road, West Jefferson, up on the hill across from the Senior Center and next to ACTA, for a catered luncheon meeting.

--RSVP is required if you would like to eat as an accurate head count is needed. The catered luncheon is $10/plate paid at the door, in cash, and includes lunch, drink, and dessert.
--Please bring CASH and exact change, thank you. We’re sorry, but no credit or debit cards can be accepted.
--If you choose not to eat there is no charge.

Ashe County NC Republican Women’s Club – Sponsoring US Constitutional Speaker, Joe Wolverton II, JD

The ACNCRW is hosting Dr. Joe Wolverton on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

We will be hosting Dr. Joe Wolverton II, JD at 5:30 p.m. at Sweet and Savory, 6 S. Jefferson Ave., West Jefferson.
He is a constitutional law scholar of The John Birch Society, a former constitutional attorney, and a nationally renowned constitutional scholar and educator. He is celebrated for his passionate defense of liberty and the principles of the Founding Fathers.
There will be a Q&A after his talk.
*The event will be held at Sweet & Savory in West Jefferson. *People are welcome to get a bite to eat.

Class on our Constitution

The next Class on our Constitution will be starting on Thursday, January 30th, at 6:30p at Ashe County Sheriff’s Office Training Room in West Jefferson.

This is an in-depth interactive class that runs weekly for 13 weeks through April 24th, 2025.
This information is critical to understanding what our elected officials and our government should and should not be doing according to the Law of our Land, and our U.S. Constitution.
They make an oath swearing or affirming that they will be bound by, obey, and defend our Constitution...every one of them. Yet the vast majority of them do not seem to actually know or believe what that means.

It is up to YOU AND ME, the citizens who elected them and whom they are sworn to serve and represent, to hold every one of them accountable. NOT just prior to an election, but every day, with every vote, and every proposed bill. Thus WE-YOU AND ME are obligated to know the history, foundations, and content of our Constitution.

See you in class! Open to students and citizens of all ages.
Class materials/workbooks are a one-time purchase of $45 to cover the printing cost - couples and families can share.

North Carolina Women: activists since 1774

The first federated republican women's club was formed in 1938. The Ashe County Republican Women's Club was formed in October 2021. The purpose of the ACNCRW is to aid and support Republican candidacy, help with elections, support various civic projects, and be a reliable source of political information. We are linked to both state and national clubs.

Our meetings are on the last Thursday of each month except in November, when it is one week earlier due to Thanksgiving. We meet at 11:00 AM.

We are a brand-new, grass-roots organization. The ACNCRW was inducted into the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women (NCFRW) in August of 2022.

Our country needs you! Our mission is to positively impact our state and nation, while strengthening our Republican Party through recruiting, educating, training, supporting, and electing Republicans.
